Welcome to our unique Restaurant and Wedding Venue. Our beautiful unique period function room, “The Ballroom”, has been hosting weddings and functions since 1928. Situated on our first floor, the Ballroom is perfect for boutique weddings. Every wedding includes exclusive use of the Ballroom and also the downstairs restaurant as a welcome reception area. Our Restaurant, famous for our Afternoon Teas, including our signature dish: the Whitby Fish and Chips Afternoon Tea; is rated in the Top 10% of Restaurants Worldwide on TripAdvisor. Our Restaurant and Wedding Venue is a very special place. We are a delightful restaurant which transforms into a sublime, unique venue in the blink of an eye. Only those who have seen the Ballroom in person, know of Whitby’s secret hidden gem.
