Heckmondwike Pétanque club have an excellent facility. It is the largest of its type in the North of England and arguably one of the best purpose built facilities in the country. Heckmondwike PC have just hosted their first international quality event, the La British Open, sponsored by local company TOG24. With players decending on Heckmondwike from across the UK, Belgium, Slovakia and France. A superb event that displayed the sport and Northern hospitality at its best.
