Lovely venue. I was there for a wake and the staff were great, the beer was good and the food laid on was excellent.

I was invited to a celebration lunch. Being Sunday, the menu revolved around a roast dinner which most of us chose. The soup starter set the tone : soup is easy but also easy to mess up. Was there for a funeral. Lovely room and patio. Course looks nice from the club house. Lovely food. Place was busy and car parks were full to bursting.

We went for a quiz night. Jacket with curry with cheese on top was served. Quiz was good but there were some ridiculous questions 😄 🤣

Played in the seniors open yesterday and was so impressed by the course I decided to review. A really tight course where accuracy off the tee is rewarded to avoid the trees either side of the fairways and being blocked out by being on the wrong side of a dog-leg. Some fairways can be undulating so there's often the challenge of playing off a side/down/up slope too.
