My son had English lessons with one of the tutors at Head Start. The tutor was absolutely fantastic, and really helped to build his confidence in his English skills and to help with the tools needed to equip him to complete his GCSE exams. My sons English grades improved from a 4/5 when he started to a grade 7 result at GCSE. My daughter had several sessions with Alain in the run up to GCSE's. Alain has a lovely calm manner and gave helpful tips on remembering certain points. Pauline on reception very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

My daughter has been going to Head Start for nearly 3 years. Claire has been a fantastic tutor and my daughter has done very well in Maths & English. She was actually looking forward to the sessions. There has been excellent feedback from school which has given my daughter even more confidence. Brilliant tutoring of maths (from Alain - who never failed to get a laugh as well) and science (from Genevieve - brilliantly knowledgeable). Both have such faith in their students too. Great to see my daughter improve her confidence as well as her ability. Great communication from the team and accommodation of our needs - especially during the times of Covid.
