Haydon Wick Bowls Club

Great club. They have free coaching on Monday evenings from the middle of May. 5 qualified coaches available.

Any age person who enjoys playing sport can give bowls a go. On Monday evenings @6pm from 9th May 2022 through to Sept, Haydon Wick Bowls Club hosts free introduction /training evenings. No special clothing or equipment is required. My photo is of the bowls gathered together ready to be bowled when the teams return from their half time tea break.

I started bowling last July at the club, never bowled before. Attended one of the Introduction Sessions on a Monday night. Then quickly followed with more Monday coaching. There was no pressure to join, the coaching team are happy just to bring new people in, and of course returners to the sport. Made very welcome, and joined after a few weeks. yeah, probably the best in the U...K and now ready for the new season 2022. We have a lot coming up. BIG BOWLS WEEKEND 28th of May 10am -3.00pm and from Monday the 9th of May free coaching come along and give it ago. At Haydon Wick Bowls we also play the game petangue (boules) give it a try.

Wonderful bowls club. Very friendly membership and a smooth Green. They have an Open Day in early May with free tuition to anyone who comes. Recommended.
