A small and very friendly club yet with a good number of teams playing in the Middlesex Leagues from high to low divisions. This combined with the coaching programme and the internal club tournaments (Open, Junior and Veterans) means there's good competitive tennis available to all members. Wonderful local tennis club run by volunteers with great facilities. Welcoming to all standards, always friendly and a good mix of social and competitive tennis. Christian and the LOVETennis team have coached our kids for many happy years - couldn't recommend them more

Hartswood Tennis Club is a neighbourhood gem. It is run by a friendly and highly dedicated committee and group of volunteers. The club offers a large range of activities to accommodate all types of players ranging from club social tennis, improver social, team tennis, club tournaments, ladders and coaching. New members and potential new members are made to feel welcome by the club. All round Hartswood Tennis Club is a fantastic club with fantastic members!

Hartswood Tennis Club is a hidden treasure, behind some houses on the border of Shepherd's Bush and Chiswick. There are now six floodlit courts and it is incredibly peaceful with one of the best Club Houses around. I play three of four times a week, during the week with friends and at weekends in the Club Social (mixed). My two boys are members as well and play regularly. Hartswood Tennis club has to be the friendliest and most enjoyable tennis club in England and a delight to play at with charming members - it is also useful that they set certain standards of play so that you know you will get to play good tennis. This may explain certain poor reviews from people whose tennis is weak
