Hartford Sub Aqua Club

I joined HSAC in 2013 with the intention of quickly doing my Ocean Diver training with them so I could dive during a trip to Australia. In the event I found the club such a good place to be that I stayed to carry on my training, and am now an instructor! The club has really helped and supported me, and given lots of opportunities for exciting and varied diving. Highly recommended.

A friendly and friendly club offering all levels of training. Once you've learned to dive there's cheap kit hire to get you started and free air fills. There's a dive programme with dives all around the UK, including dives around Anglesey from the club boat and the occasional overseas trip. A weekly pool session and regular social nights round out the programme and give you a a chance to meet other members and make new friends.

Dive with friends is the BSAC motto, and this definitely holds true with Hartford Sub Aqua. I'm a warm water Diver only, so don't do much diving with the club in the UK, but the friendships I've made make it worthwhile. Great craic, banter, views, and knowledge passed on with passion and fun! Lots of non diving activities too, from marine biology courses, sign language talk, to just beers and chat in the pub after the pool sessions. Great dive club. People of all ages and abilites. A really friendly group, so if you want to learn to scuba dive or even highly qualified this is the club for you. When I joined I just wanted enough skills to dive the Barrier Reef as I was going on holiday there... over 3 years later I'm totally hooked and could not have done without the excellent instructors and support of the other members.

A great club, Very friendly and whatever your level or experience there is something going on that you can get involved with. Very active bunch, great training calendar. If its BSAC and you want to do it, this club is the place to go! (They also like a beer and a chat) Top Club!
