  • We had such an amazing experience last Sunday here. Thank you to the 3 ladies that lead & taught my 10 year old twins & 18 year old Step-Son. Who had never been on a horse before due to being too scared. The trainers were so good & patient, which really put us at ease. A real homely & friendly feel atmosphere, set in a beautiful farm environment. Quiet village location, which the lesson included a little tour of. Well worth the money, couldn't recommend highly enough. We'll definitely be back...

  • Went out & spoke to 1 of the ladies out there & asked about a Christmas present voucher riding lesson for my wife. She was very polite & helpful, she told me to texted a certain person & gave me the number & they would send me the details of what to do. Texted all the details required & waited for a reply. No reply after 2 days so texted again still no reply. This was a week & half before xmas probably a little late on my behalf but no correspondence from the stables. Would I recommend not wi...

  • Lovely friendly staff and happy, well cared for horses to suit all abilities. The teaching is excellent and pub rides highly recommended! Great fun and a lovely atmosphere and my 10 year old daughter's riding has come on leaps and bounds - from lead rein to jumping on one of the super little ponies they have for children. I wonder if the lady mentioned in the previous review might have visited the stables on a Tuesday when it's closed as the staff are there pretty much all the time otherwise?

  • The stable is not up to the standard that is advertised, staff are very abrupt and blunt with customers. Lack of respect is also showed to visitors and people who may be interested in lessons as I discovered two weeks ago, a lady arrived trying to get hold of someone who was in charge but left furious as the yard was empty

  • I learnt to ride here and now I keep my horse in livery here. I can't give a better recommendation than that. If you want to learn to ride or take some lessons to hone your skills in a down to earth 'all about the riding' atmosphere, have lots of fun and enjoy some great hacks come to Harringworth. For livery customers HMS has grass in abundance in a fantastic setting and reassurance that the dedicated owners have forgotten more than I know about all things equestrian.
