Spent an excellent weekend on a beginners course being taught the basics of the handpan by the brilliant Marketa. The teaching was great, and by the end of the 2 days we were all happily jamming away together as a group. It was a wonderful introduction to the instrument, and I would highly recommend it!

Loved the beginners course. Marketa is an excellent teacher, very patient. The course was fun and informal. I enjoyed the workshop tour too, to see how the handpans are made. The course helped me to decide which handpan to buy, allowing me to try different handpans in different keys. This prevented me wasting money on the wrong choice of handpan. Would recommend. Can’t fault!

I just spent this last weekend with Marketa and Duncan learning handpan and discovering how they are made. Meridian has a very nice warm feel to it and both are very passionate about what they do. After an hour and trying out the technique things fell into place and nice sounds started to come. Marketa is an excellent teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. I attended the handpan workshop and purchased an amazing handpan from Meridian Handpans after the course. Marketa and Duncan were amazingly informative and calm guides teaching us and going above and beyond with the information provided. A wonderful workshop with beautiful energies. Superb weekend. Marketa made the experience enjoyable, positive and inspiring with her excellent coaching. Seeing how the pans are made was a real insight into the craftsmanship that makes them sound so sweet. Being able to try the different scales helped me choose my first handpan. Lots of great info from Marketa pointed us in the direction for further learning and links to the handpan community. Hope to be back for another session later.
