  • This place is an incredible hidden gem. Starts with a really tough par 4 then just gets harder! Absolutely beat up my partner and I with a strong breeze and some crazy holes. Not quite sure I agree with the reviewer who said it is wide open - there are some holes where you are dead if you go left, right, short or long!! Amazing views and entertaining holes. The 17th is a massively downhill par 3 where club selection is pretty much hit and hope. An absolute bargain for £25 in the week.

  • Really enjoyable moorland course. Holes 3 to 6 are tough lay up tee shots, especially if you haven't played here before as the fairways are split into sections with streams and gullies running across them... be patient and plot your way through these holes with irons, hybrids or woods from the tee as you can open your shoulders up with driver on the back 9. Some great views especially from the 17th tee box.

  • Excellent moorland course. Nice wide fairways for those who hit a wide shot. Good prices for the pro shop. Good quality professional who is highly trained. Also a trained club fitter and club repairer. Nice quality, homely food available served by friendly staff.

  • We choose to play this course every year for a family members birthday and we are always very impressed. For causal, average handicap players this course is a great balance of challenge and enjoyment with the added bonus of spectacular views. The fairways are generous but be warned if you hit too wide you will be punished in the the thick deep rough lining the course. Our 4 ball all commented about how this course is such a hidden gem as every time we've played the weather has been brilliant...

  • Very picturesque course. A great challenge of a course to play. If you dont find the fairway your in trouble. Some great holes that have you thinking more about strategy rather than just hitting it. Hole 17 is a classic hole. I would love to play it when it doesn't rain or blowing a gale!!!
