Gwydyr Stables Riding & Trekking (formerly Ty Coch)

I felt comfortable the entire ride, different routes applied to different levels of riders. The views were amazing as the guide described local landmarks. The horses are really hard working as well as the employees. It is so rare to find a horse stable in Snowdonia since everything is sheep farms but it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this to people wanting to experience pony trekking on holiday.

Just had lovely 3 hour treck out. Steve was lovely fella and really chatty. Me and my best mate had lovely time. Some amazing views to be seen.

Amazing location, wonderful horses and a brilliant guide. We went for a 3 hour ride and loved it from start to finish. Was a highlight of our trip to N.Wales. Ffion was a fab guide!

The love and care that goes in to looking after the animals at this stables is so clear to see. I rode the absolutely beautiful Jo Jo and my 15 year old son rode Calypso. Our trek guide was such a lovely young lady. She and all of the younger stable hands knew the horses so well and clearly cared for their welfare very much. It was a lovely relaxed hour well spent. I 'smiled my head off'..... Loved it. Thank you so much.

This was simply incredible! The horses are beautiful well looked after and well behaved. The location you trek, is second to known. If you're a beginner (me) or experienced (my son) they can cater for you without any problem. Atty took us out and her knowledge, skill and company was perfect. 5 stars not enough for day we had. Amazing horses and amazing staff! The staff here couldn't do more for you, I highly recommend for inexperienced riders or experienced riders, the views are stunning! The staff take so much time to select the perfect horse for you and are happy to give you tips on how to get the most out of your ride. I've been coming back for 15+ years, absolutely love it.
