Guitar James - Camberley Guitar Lessons

My 9 year old son has been going for weekly lessons with James for almost 2 years. We loved the idea of our son learning "cool" rock / pop music that he'd enjoy. James has a great way of teaching and explaining music to children. My son picked up reading music very quickly, was fast to pick up the chords and rock out!

James is an excellent guitar player and teacher who encompasses a wide range of styles and techniques. I’ve been attending lessons for the last few years and have found his teaching style to be friendly, relaxed and professional, whilst maintaining unbelievable patience… I would recommend James without hesitation to anyone, across all levels, who is looking to learn to play guitar or enhance their own playing ability.

Wanted to learn how to play the guitar and found James online. He was really patient as I was a complete novice and soon moved onto learning useful playing techniques. He had great knowledge of how to start learning and encouraged me to move onto more complicated and technical songs. Really look forward to every lesson. Would definitely recommend James

As a parent, James has done and is doing an excellent job at keeping my 17 year old inspired. James has been teaching my son for several years, and has managed to keep him on syllabus whilst at the same time allowing him to explore other music interests. Something that other music teachers ( violin and piano ) have not been able to do. Would highly recommend.

James is an amazing teacher. Having no previous experience in playing the guitar James had taught me all the basics and had me playing songs in under 4 months. I've really enjoyed being taught by him as he constantly pushes me to improve with harder songs, musical knowledge and sitting exams.
