The owner is a top bloke, and very knowledgeable about fishing in general, and also the local rivers and lakes. Gt baits is more than just a tackle shop there to make money. The way he caters for young anglers giving massive discounts, free bait etc, is well known and appreciated locally. A rare gem of a business that should be fully supported 👌

Very friendly guy runs the shop. I'm just getting back into fishing after a 20 year hiatus and he was so helpful! Great time even just chatting and he gave me all sorts of invaluable local knowledge... He was the perfect example of why you should always prefer to go to a local tackle shop instead of ordering online!
