  • GMA Juniors are the friendliest club ever, they are so welcoming and take time to make sure everyone is happy, comfortable, and safe. The sessions are fun and well organised, communication was amazing from the start with everything being explained well and all questions answered quickly. They really do go above and beyond. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

  • Grove Martial Arts is fantastic! I have trained with them for 6 years now, and currently train online. The support and encouragement that this club provides for all their members, regardless of age, ability or gender, is second to none. My confidence in myself and my ability to look after myself has grown so much from training with them. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to learn karate/self defence.

The club is run professionally and I’m glad to see the students have to earn their grades. There’s no favouritism among the students and they are all taught the same le...

  • I have found GMA to be a great club for beginners like myself. They don't expect you to learn any faster than your own pace allows, the training team are very understanding to each pupils needs. I have an awful memory and am constantly forgetting how to transition to different stances, they tell me to take my time and don't rush, it will come with time. I would really recommend this club to anyone willing to learn an applicated form of self defence. All the other students have made me feel ve...
