Gretton Sports & Social Club

I wonder if they have had a visit from their licensing officer yet, since they breach it regularly, meant to close at 11pm but still serve alcohol outside their licensing hours till around 5/6am but just do a lock in, shouldn’t treat staff badly, otherwise they would not have been reported.

Let’s just say if you are not from Gretton, or don’t have family who live in there, don’t bother going. Massively funny with anyone who doesn’t live in the village! It’s no surprise only people from Gretton go there, they are just how can anyone explain it “Very Strange”

A fabulous place for all to enjoy, but particularly those with young families due to it's proximity to the recreation ground and children's play area. Friendly staff, clean, an excellent array of drink choice and first class service. A really welcoming atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend this place over and over again.

Police notified. Dreadful, aggressive and no observation of COVID guidelines. Friendly female staff happily served 2 drinks to my companion (a member) and myself (a guest) without questioning our membership status. It transpires that members cannot invite guests. Both of us had our drinks snatched out of our hands by a very drunk and extremely aggressive male purporting to act on behalf of the club (a committee member?) stating that I was not allowed a drink as I was not a member (but als...

Well organised and staffed by nice people. Great selection of lagers and a real ale on. Members only but they do a day membership, if you are visiting the area.
