Caribbean Sailing School & RYA Training CentreAlex Johnstone is an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor originally from the UK. As owner-operator, he runs Grenada Bluewater Sailing’s RYA training and sailing charters from his favourite place in the world – Grenada and the Grenadines. Sailing worldwide for over 35 years, Alex has logged over 100,000 nautical miles. His experience and knowledge is extensive and he comes highly-rated as an RYA Instructor. A great mentor, Alex is very patient and loves nothing better than sharing his passion for learning to sail in the Grenadines. An accomplished cook, Alex loves to entertain crew and guests on board in the evenings. He is a great accordion player and a mean card player too! Alex’s zest for fun and adventure shines through as he introduces visitors to his other favourite pastimes; apart from sailing, he enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and snorkelling in the beautiful Grenadines.
