Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club

Great golf club with really friendly members,laid back feel..no stuffy quaffers here,massive improvements recently implemented by quality greens team..really enjoying my time here..

I was pleasantly surprised by the course as I pass it everyday on the way to work . The greens were in great condition and the holes were actually quite nice. Only downside is that you cross the main road and you are near the motorway. Cheap to play and was very quiet during the week.

Great views. Ample car park with all gold related services available along a nice venue for events and celebrations. Great location easily navigated with many games in club house/bar.

Played here 3 times in the last 2 years and its always the same. Fairways have always been decent but let down by the greens. This is partly down to its members who just do as they please.. no pitch marks are repaired and they feel they can just jump in where and whenever they see fit. You must get a handbook on how to be a W*nker when you join. Nice course spoilt by its members its a real shame.

Wow what a gorgeous function room they have here overlooking the golfcourse they have an open balcony and is perfect for any function.. we was asked to decorate the room with balloons for a wedding and was surprised when we went in to how beautiful the place is Bolton Balloon Fairies definitely recommends here for parties 🥳🎈😍
