  • I started training here when I moved to Coventry last month (for context I had trained Bjj for 12 years elsewhere). Nas is a very solid and knowledgeable black belt and a friendly guy, the mat space is great and the team members are welcoming, good students and tough training partners.

  • I stopped in Saturday for a drop in session while on vacation visiting my wife's family. It's a bit hard to find as there isn't any signage. Follow the signs for the gym, it's through a door facing the street and up the stairs. Great facility, nice mats and a friendly group of people. The main instructor was out of town for a competition, but the class was still quality and the live sessions were challenging. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town!

  • Nas is a great instructor, high level competitor and second degree Roger Gracie Black Belt, so the classes are superb from someone with lineage to the GOAT! But what's really important is the team. No egos and really inclusive and friendly. It really is for everyone. Big, small, young or old, it really does not matter. Great vibes and great people. With extended affiliations across other Grand Union BJJ academies, it's a nationwide family.

  • Amazing bjj gym. The coach Nas is very knowledgable and explain the moves very well, always willing to help. Excellent environment, the rest of the team are very supportive and rolls can go as hard as you want.

  • Amazing place to train - Nas is a world class teacher, with a friendly and approachable teaching style. The team is welcoming & the facility is always clean.
