I got an opportunity to attend one the training courses by GOVPD, It was insightful specially to have an interactive close door discussion. The trainer was extremely professional and an excellent host allowing all attendees to contribute and provided solutions on our day to day challenges. Attended an excellent online Social Media Strategy course ran by GovPD last week - it was informative, full of useful information and practical ideas I can put forward into my own work. The Social Media Marketing for Public Sector Organisations course was really interesting, insightful and split into useful sections along the day. We were provided with resources that will definitely come in handy in my day-to-day role, and I'm sure the rest of the team will love them too! I would definitely recommend the on-line course I have just completed on Harnessing Emotional Intelligence and Improving Personal Communication Skills with Emma Ewing. Even though it was a course I had signed up for I did wonder if it was the right choice for me when it started. The course was quite compact with lots of examples and time to discuss specifics with the group in on-line breakout rooms. I attended an online training session for Women in Leadership - Pathways to Senior Roles. I can't recommend this course enough, I left feeling exhausted but in a great way. I was reenergised and had loads of insights along with helpful hints and tips to put into practice right away! Definitely worth attending.
