About Godparents Anthroposophical Training Fund
Initially founded in 1968 as the ‘Godparents Association’ it served mainly as a fund to provide ‘godparents’ for children in Steiner Waldorf Schools. In 1977 the Training fund began and in 2004 the Godparents Association was reconstituted to become the Godparents Anthroposophical Training Fund (GATF). The GATF now welcomes loan applications from students worldwide to help with tuition fees in the UK. The GATF also holds a small Children’s Fund that assists families in short term financial difficulties with loans or grants towards tuition fees for children in Steiner Waldorf education.
