  • Completed the 5 day introduction course booked by my employer, for Turning and Milling, along with Pillar Drill and Bandsaw; An absolutely brilliant course for a beginner to get hands on, learning different the tools, equipment, materials and how to make a variety of component features. The course was also tailored to be relevant to our workplace, such as using specific material which was perfect. Keith and Jake were wonderful instructors, very clear and knowledgeable, Thankyou!

As someone who had a brief overview of workshop tools and machinery from my days at university this was an absolutely brilliant refresher on all of the machines as listed in the course title. Keith and Jake were excellent instructors who went through everything at a good pace and the entire course was very well structured. I don’t think I can recommend these guys enough,...

Also learnt how to control a professional MIG/TIG machine. The instructors (Alan and Andrew) running the course were really highly skilled and exceptionally helpful, they did everything to ensure we came away competent welders. The course was 100% practical hands on so we were constantly welding and worked through all...

  • My first year at GET has been very good. The instructors and staff are all very friendly and they make you feel very welcome. They will teach you all the necessary skills you need to go from being unskilled to a fully trained individual. I would recommend an apprenticeship here to anybody.
