Gloucester Rowing Club

Very good coaching, friendly & helpful.

Visited for a rowing regatta. Able to operate on adjacent canal when rivers were short of water depth. Minimal facilities provided by volunteers. Shared boathouse not visited.

Met here with Gloucester Canoe Club and had a good experience, someone did lock the toilets and showers whilst we were still on the water tho.

Big boat house still in the process of building/finishing, lovely location on the channel, large parking plot area.It is a rowing club with a long tradition where one could attend learn to row courses, row for pleasure or competitive.

Clubhouse is 'oarsome'. Little more than cosmetic alterations needed to finish it inside but the warmth of the welcome was great. Didn't like the headwind for that last 750m of today's Spring Head quite so much.
