Great location for a scenic view. Shame the boating club did not have any access to the public to view the lake. It seems all the Posh people who can afford to join the club can access. Its a sad thing. We went with children and they could have applied some discretion, but we were very disappointed at their behaviour.
Brilliant club, definitely the biggest sailable lake for miles-lies on line of prevailing wind so 1.4 mile beats and 3/4 mile reaches down wind are terrific..Check out the web site-follow on Facebook and on Twitter @sailGlossop
