Gleneagles Riding School

After 20 years of not riding I was nervous at first. James my instructor made me feel so relaxed and he is so patient with me as I learn the ‘reins’ again. Donna, makes you feel like you are part of the ‘horse family’. I wouldn’t use any other stables and I will always recommend them to anyone. Love the horse that they picked for me…she’s perfect. Thank you you guys.

Great place, been bring my son here for several weeks and he's come on leaps and bounds. Trainers are very knowledgeable and approachable. They know where the student is at so won't push too far or hold them back. Needs a little sprucing up but you don't spend enough time inside to worry about it. Some lovely horses. All healthy and happy and different horses for every level of rider. Well worth a visit if you are looking at lessons for a little one.

Had my first lesson today along with my sister, everything was lovey from the minute we arrived and everyone was really polite! We were nervous to begin with after not being on a horse for what felt like for ever but our instructor Amy really helped us get over that too the point we were trotting over poles on the first lesson! Sally and deli really looked after us on our ride:)

I used to ride here and do volunteer work alot at weekends a few years back. Loved it! Such friendly people and the horses all have there own personalitys, great to ride for all abilities! Loved the track at the back near itchen valley too! Wish I'd stayed on but had to move on finding a full time job and cost of running my first car. Great hobby it was at the time though and their prices are actually very good. They are very organised and get you ready on your horse on time.

A great place for beginners and the more experienced riders. The horses are lovely and all very gentle and the leaders are also very good. I would highly recommend it to everyone. You can also be sure that the lessons are nearly always on what ever the weather. The day courses are very nice to you get to meet many new friends and horse lovers, it is a great experience for anyone.
