Frobel Independent School

Welcome to our school Frobel Independent School is a new independent day school situated in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham. We can proudly state that we are the first non-faith independent school in Barking. We are a secondary school educating years 7 through to 11. The school aims to have 15 students per year group, with a total number of 75 pupils. The school has a commitment to high standards and to the success of every student. This is reinforced by the school’s motto: ‘Striving for Excellence’. We have a diverse curriculum where we aim to meet the needs of all our students and guide them on a path towards their chosen vocations. We want all our pupils to feel part of a community. To do this we aim to look after every student from the moment they join us to the moment they leave. This is further enhanced by placing a great emphasis on promoting excellent relationships between staff, students and parents. We intend to work with students, parents, teachers, governors and other members of the community to ensure we build a school of which we can all be proud.
