Our work begins with state primary schools, because working at a school level is the clearest way to reach children of all backgrounds. Through our strong school partnerships and highly trained teaching team we learn and model what high quality, inclusive and inspiring music education can look like. With ever-tightening budgets and an education policy focusing on ‘non-creative’ subjects, integrating music into a school’s ethos and core identity can seem impossible. But we want to challenge the preconception that music is an add-on or ‘nice to have’ by being there every step of the way – making the journey an exciting and truly rewarding experience.
