About Free Self Yoga

Free Self Yoga is run by Delyth Rees. Delyth has been practicing yoga for 13 years. In a quest to achieve a deeper understanding of yogic philosophy and practice, Delyth decided to pursue a 200 hour teacher training qualification at Yoga Satsanga Ashram in West Wales. This year long course provided an excellent grounding in traditional hatha yoga and Rishiculture Ashtanga practices, based on the teachings of Gitananda. Delyth teaches accessible yoga classes which focus on integrating mind, body and breathe. A general class follows the traditional shape of a Rishiculutre Ashtanga yoga sessions- starting with quiet sitting and pranyama (breath work), Jattis (unrestricted movements), kriya (flowing asana), suriya namaskar (sun salutations), asana (postures) and relaxation.
