Full of regulars that look at you with complete hatred that you've gone to their club and sat in their seats and drank their beer. Wouldn't be surprised if it closed down in years to come when all the oldies are brown bread, if that's how they treat all newcomers.

Lovely venue for any type of family gatherings, from Wakes to Birthdays. No catering provided. BUT Morrison's do lots of different platters that won't break the bank. The Staff are very friendly & helpful.

Local People and staff outstanding, generous and kind. Premises first class. Really enjoyed ourselves, thanks to everyone especially the Armed Services section.

! First time visit to the Remember When cafe with my 94 year old mum. A little bit bumpy on the path getting there with the wheelchair but we made it OK! A warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. The orange & lemon cake was delicious. We particularly enjoyed looking at the booklets of old photographs. Mum has dementia and poor eye sight but it gave us a conversation point, talking about the old telephone boxes with press button A or B and many other things I could only just remember. I think ...
