Set in the Freshfield district of Formby adjoining Formby Cricket and Hockey Club, Formby Lawn Tennis Club posseses fine facilities for tennis and enjoys not only a beautiful place to play but also provides a vibrant social life for members and guests alike. As a member for the past forty years I have enjoyed both league and social tennis but above all made many friends.

With it's clubhouse, 6 all-weather courts, coaching and range of playing opportunities for all levels and abilities, playing tennis at Formby Lawn Tennis Club represents a rich and rewarding experience. I would encourage anyone who has played tennis before or is looking to take up the sport within a welcoming and friendly environment to come along and give tennis a go at this club.

Been a member here for more years than I can remember and it's always been great for tennis and social activities. The courts are the best in Merseyside and the clubhouse has loads of character. Highly recommend it.

I go the cardio sessions. It's a fun and friendly activity for everyone involved, gets my heart rate up and is helping with my tennis skills. You don't even have to be a member which is good for people who don't normally play tennis.
