  • Been going to the driving range since they did work on it and it’s honestly fantastic. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. What lets it down so badly are the balls. I’ve stopped going there now which is a shame because it is probably the best facility in the county but I just can’t understand why you would spend so much money upgrading your driving range and not get new balls in. • My wife and I popped into Forest Hill Golf Club Restaurant and Lounge for a coffee, soda water, and something to nibble on, after a lovely walk around Thornton Reservoir. Never played golf in our lives, and certainly don't intend to. But we do like good food in a lovely atmosphere, along with great customer service. Forest Hill really does tick all those boxes. What makes up for it though is that these later bays have additional seating, so great to bring families along. The Diamond suite looks nice, being enclosed, so good for those who want some privacy from the masses, while the Platinum is the top level offering, with putting and a sofa. Would be nice if all ba...
