Fairways

We had a cracking couple of rounds, great course as not the longest so as it was my first time golfing in over 20 years it was just perfect. Shop staff friendly and knowledgeable as were the bar staff lovely to talk to aswell. We didn't eat and sat outside with our drinks, but it sure did smell good..well be back.. Visited on 15th for Sunday Carvery. What a feed we had great choice of meat and veg and then a huge selection of puddings just to ensure I didn't need to eat again that day..

Nice venue with welcoming wait staff, well set and clean dining area. Food was delivered quickly and well cooked. Negatives: View looks out under rusty iron stairs. Only one alcohol free drink option (Magners). Overall pleasant experience, would reccomend.

Used the driving range for the first time since the refurb ans have to say brilliant! Tracer worked well my only tip would be to move the mat forward as it does seem to miss a few shots

The food was great, but the service was terrible. Lots of young girls that were not interested at all to busy chatting to serve us we were about 40 minutes before we got our food order taken & that's only because I stuck my hand up to grab there attention even though we were sat right in front of them all, will not be going back till the service improves. But the food was good.

This is a review for the restaurant at Fairways. I was invited here by my friends for breakfast. At the time of visit we were still doing track and trace. There is plenty space in the restaurant. I ordered the full Scottish breakfast and what a helping you get. There is also options for toast and tea or fruit juice if you wish. It was a lovely breakfast and it was a quick service too.
