Fairway Hotel & Restaurant

Stayed one night for the purpose of work and it did not disappoint, the staff were amazing, especially the boy who was training on his first day. The breakfast was very good too and the lady who served us did an amazing job. The rooms are a bit small but very cozy and for the price paid couldn’t of asked for better. Definitely will stay again if in the area.

The staff were very friendly and both the breakfast and dinner were really good. However, no hot water in the room we were staying in and the fact that the whole place was very run down left a lot to be desired. To be fair, we were moved to a better room on the second night of our stay - lovely people working there, but needs some proper investment.

Restaurant review only: Food was reasonably priced and well presented. The linguine carbonara was slightly bland, but tasty enough. Looked clean and well kept with pleasant staff. Only in the area for a short while, otherwise would probably visit again.

Me & my partner went here for a meal & it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, from the minute we arrived. The food was superb, we both ordered starters, I had the mozzarella sticks & my partner had the bruschetta, she said that it was excellent & the mozzarella sticks were also excellent. Stayed overnight prior to travelling so location wise, it’s perfect for those travelling from Edinburgh Airport. Around 15 minutes or so away. We arrived fairly late and there were staff available on hand to check us in. Plenty of parking available. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Your not paying a stupid amount of money so don’t expect a 5* stay. The room decor could do with a little updating and the pillows could have been better but did the job for a night stay.
