Estuary Sailing - Rya Training Centre

I have been on various RYA courses for Sailing and Motor Boating and have found the way and manner they are taught to be very different. Carol is direct, clear and to the point, clearly explaining whatever you need help with and making sure you fully understand every sector before moving onto the next, for me the best way to be taught. I really enjoyed the course and especially the night passage back to Essex. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.

I've just completed a 2 day Power Boat 2 course with Carol at Estuary Sailing along with my husband and father. Not only did we learn amount about weather, tides, navigation, boat handling, knots, safety (to name name but a few) we also had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Carol's knowledge is incredibly vast and her sense of humour is second to none! Also have to mention the great cafe next door, just what you need after a morning out on the water. Many thanks!

Just finished the final part of competent crew and it was great. Carol is very down to earth and tells it like it is. She is also encouraging and patient, not seeming to tire having to repeat herself time and again. The sailing was really good with lots to see along the Essex coastline. I've left the course feeling much more confident in my abilities - and thirsty to learn more. Thank you Carol!! :-)

We have just spent a fabulous three days with Carol. Don't know what that other guy is on(!) Carol is great; down to earth, loads of encouragement, built up our confidence, really showed us how to enjoy our sailing. Looking forward to finishing our Day Skipper Practical next month. We would recommend Carol to anyone who wants to really learn about sailing.

Have just returned from 2 days with Carol from Estuary Sailing and I have to say it was one of the most memorable days I have ever enjoyed. Not only did we have some great fun learning to sail but seal watched, swam in the ocean and watched a fabulous sunset all in one day. What more can you ask for.
