Elvaston Cricket Club

Sadly, no longer a 'cricket club'. More a social club that plays a bit of cricket.

We had the Yappy Ever After Dog Rescue Charity Dog Show and Fun Day there last weekend. The Cricket Club people were so warm and friendly and put on an amazing BBQ and served great quality food, thank you guys for everything

Beautiful setting for a game of cricket, quite, peaceful surroundings. Pavilion as a bar for hot and cold drinks. A good atmosphere all round.

The club is managed entirely by volunteers, current numbers are around 50 people undertaking varying roles within the club with many taking on more that one role. The facilities themselves and maintained by a group of around 8 people with varying skills two days per week every week of the year. Increased engagement with the local community during the creation of the extension and as a result of the pavilion being available use is anticipated to attract more volunteers to support sustainabilit...
