Ef International Language Campus - English Courses In Torquay

I enquired once to EF and still get emails and calls years later. The sales people on the phone are quite aggressive and argumentative and are clearly sneering at you whilst on the phone. The rates are very poor and they brush over this considerable expense to host by saying its "an amazing experience" and we'll be "friends for life." The reality is apparently very different. Beware speaking to this company; they'll spam/call you for years.

Learn English in a scaled-down Hogwarts! I cannot praise the staff here enough, as I'm one of them, but I can say that EF are a far more thoughtful and professionally-run organisation than many other language schools I've worked for. Their materials are well constructed. The Teachers, Activity Leaders, and Welfare Officers genuinely care about their students.

While I was out yesterday my security camera captured 5 EF students enter my walled and gated private driveway. Note: I am not hosting any of these students, they are unknown to me. They paced my driveway and took turns to sit and stand on my door step while posing for photos. This trespassing is hugely disrespectful, a breach of mine and my families privacy and I actually feel quite violated. I took the footage to the school and was told the students will get a "warning". This is our experience of being a host family with Torquay EF.We have been hosting for a few years now, this year we hosted a 15 year old girl from Austria, who was very settled in our house and very happy. Day ten of her stay we got a phone call from them saying our DBS check ( criminal record check) has not come back and we will be removing the girl from your house, the word removing made us fell like criminals.
