Friendly group of people who made us very welcome. Pat and I enjoyed two Aero Tows and two winch launches. Final winch launch gave me a flight of close to an hour as we found some good lift. It is a great experience and we highly recommend it. Tim and Pat

A great place for everyone from finding out what gliding is all about, learning to fly, coaching on cross-country, or an XC pundit looking for a 365day per week, zero airspace, aerotow or winch operations. EGC have it, with a membership that want to operate a as club not a faceless business. Come see for yourself

Very friendly club. Good instructors.Not much of an airspace around. You always will find hand with your glider. great place to spend weekend. The best place to start gliding.

I moved to the area from Yorkshire and wanted to carry on learning to fly gliders. I was made very welcome at Shenington where the flying instructors are excellent.

This was the friendliest airfield I've ever been to! Everyone is so genuine and nice, and they welcome new visitors warmly. Highly recommended, even for beginners or those who are a little nervous. :)
