The Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East Diocese of Western Europe was created in mid-2019 at the Holy Synod of the Assyrian Church of the East under the leadership of our Patriarch His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Sliwa. It was decided that His Grace Mar Awraham Youkhanis would be the first Bishop to preside over the newly created Diocese. The Episcopal See is based in London, England. Our mission is to spread the Word, serve our faithful with love and a create a strong sense of community for the edification of Christ’s Holy Church. Our Eucharistic Offering takes place on Sunday mornings across the Diocese. Currently, we have four Priests, as well as Deacons and Sub-Deacons serving the Diocese. Eucharistic Offerings take place every Sunday in London and once a month or bimonthly across other countries in the Diocese.
