Eccles Leisure Centre

Great little Leisure Centre very busy at times. Not tried any sports yet but am very pleased with the Aqua Fit class on Friday morning. Caters for over 70's very well.

Great centre, has good gym, lots of new equipment, great pool and it also runs lots of fitness classes, definitely a grest benefit for Eccles 10/10 ,,,

15 years of training and never been in a gym so poorly run. Management are below any reasonable standard but yet nothing is done. Dirty gym with sweat on manchines that's months old. Staff pop in to talk to each other but never clear weights or clean. Heart FM plays throughout the gym playing classical 70s tunes, while the carabiners for machines are cable tied on and rip your clothes. This place seriously needs closing down! Gym overwhelmed with young kids, gypsy’s living in the car park, staff useless and half asleep! Disaster waiting to happen!

Went swimming here this morning. It was clean and modern. There were 5 changing cubicles in the mens wet changing room - as everybody asks and nobody ever says! The pool is big enough for most activities. This seems a long way from some of the other reviews I've read. I've posted photos of the changing room as there are none online. Limited obviously, owing to privacy of users!
