We phoned on Wednesday to book a tee time for sunday morning travelled nearly a hour to this course only to be turned away saying they didn't take are booking as there was a comp on sent them a email when I returned home didn't even reply back shocking on my behalf

Absolutely brilliant course and really well kept. The guys in the golf shop really welcoming as we come over from our own course of which is Mersey Valley

My husband is a member and he loves it. I will give it 5 stars even though it ELGC prevents a lot of DIY going on in my house! He's always going on about how good the greens are.. my daughter is 6 and he also takes her sometimes to the putting green.

Course is not in best condition at the moment. Greens are poor , by the looks thwy have recently been spiked and there very bobbley . Probably best staying away in winter months, gave it 2 stars as the layout was good and guy in the shop was very helpful . Scotish guy on way out was saying it beats sitting on the couch , but not by much he said , the so called toilets around the course , lets just say i wouldnt let a dog use them . Had a fantastic away day here plus the costing for a full English breakfast plus 2 course meal served by the lovely staff. Was suburb value for money. Only slight disappointment was the greens running very slow. Overall though I would definitely recommend
