Dunlop Sports & Social Club

Was only there for a craft fair that was held in the spacious social club. Quite a decent size carpark, although when trying to leave by car, there was a line of cars parked against the fence, which was then a struggle for car users that were in correct spaces. The club has a good size bar, friendly staff and seating outdoors with sports field.

0 stars for this place. Attended a party here last night and my god what a dump! No running water, no working toilets. The only facilities were portaloo’s outside that smelt absolutely disgusting, dirty and with no water. The only washing facility was sanitiser that left your hands sticky. The female bar staff were rude and down right Intimidating to anyone rightly complaining. Children and those with disabilities were at the party, this place should be closed down. I used the Dunlop for my engagement party last night and it was amazing! Paul was fantastic from booking the venue right up to the day. I was kept well informed throughout. I had my tables dressed and it was beautiful. I can’t thank Paul and the team enough, friendly polite staff. Price was unbeatable, and they have a great DJ package also, I would definitely recommend for all occasions!

Amazing Venue and great value for money. Was concerned when booking the room after some previous reports but shouldn't have worried myself. Room booked for Charity Event and Paul (club steward) was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. His staff we're a credit to the club, beers and drinks priced well so no need to smuggle your own in. We had our engagement party here on Saturday 13th Nov! We can honestly say our experience from booking the room (before covid) to the party was spot on. When we had to move the party because of covid paul was very accommodating. We can’t thank paul enough for helping us make our party go smoothly, very easy to get hold of, lovely guy! Thank you to all the bar staff! We will defiantly recommend and be having future parties here!
