Difficult to recommend Alex more! Having played a few instruments in the past but being a total beginner on drums it could have been easy for me to get frustrated with my playing quickly, but the really simple to digest introductory principles couldn’t have been better explained, with enough variety in the exercises to keep things interesting for a long time. Alex is a professional and friendly teacher whose passion for drumming is obvious! He is very adaptable and prepares lessons around my needs and requests with helpful handouts! I'd highly recommend him to drummers of all levels.

Alex is a phenomenal teacher. He is very patient and kind and is very encouraging. It’s also fun to hear beats you are learning in songs which is demonstrates. Couldn’t recommend him enough if you’re a beginner or getting back into drumming!

Alex is a great drum teacher and really made it fun. I played drums for years before stopping - when I wanted to get back into it Alex was open to a number of different styles that I wanted to try out and really helped me from day one with technique as well as growing my academic knowledge of sheer music reading.
