Excellent course with pleasant staff, will return in the summer months to play again

An enjoyable round of golf and never overly crowded. Teed off at 2pm and nobody followed us so me and wife had a great 3hours. Although not too many golfers were around the wildlife was just as entertaining. The route to the course is also as entertaining. It follows the line of the canal but needs resurfacing as the undulating road is part single, part double lane which you cannot speed down as unexpected cars appear around each sharp corner. Lovely golf course to play on. Highly recommended for beginners too. And the greens were outstanding, not a bit of moss/weed in them.

Had a poor winter with greens suffering due to the unprecedented rainfall but has well and truly turned the corner now. The introduction of the new head greenskeeper along with the hard work of the current staff has got the greens back to their best and the fairways are fantastic. Great value for money. Good to see it back to the standard it should be!
