Barry is a fantastic teacher! He inspired me to take up the ukulele with his boundless enthusiasm and gentle way. He has great techniques to learn finger skills and memorise chords. The best part was that I had so much fun in every class, Thank you Barry! He comes with my highest recommendation!

Barry has taught me ukelele for many months now and is the best music teacher I've ever had. A talented musician himself, he has taught me and my fellow students so much and at the same time been tirelessly encouraging to us all. Barry is a great guitar teacher who is good fun,  incredibly patient, helpful and motivating. Barry' s enthusiasm and positive attitude is contagious and his passion for music and his job is refreshing to see. He keeps me engaged throughout  the lesson (which is not an easy job, trust me :) ). Barry' s explanations are clear and easy to follow and he makes every lesson a pleasure and something that I look forward to. Highly recommended.

I have been learning to play the Ukelele in a group session with Barry for just a few months and already have a repertoire of songs that I can play. Barry is not only a gifted musician but is a gifted teacher. He gets the very best out of everyone in the group and inspires you to believe in yourself with his can do approach. The sessions are always a lot of fun and everyone in the group feels equally valued and welcome.

I have been attending Barry's weekly ukulele group at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford for about 6 months now and, I must say, his teaching and coaching is superb. I have played guitar for a number of years and thought I knew music but Barry has taught me SO much more. Excellent!
