The Cake Shack is well worth a visit. Hight quality food at very good prices. The cakes are delicious, the only problem is deciding what to choose - savory or sweet - maybe both!! Have a look you won't be disappointed 👍👍😊

Visited the Cake shack café by the fishing lakes. Staff very polite and the food tasty. When the spring and summer comes this will be a cracking place to visit. You don't have to be a fisherman, it is open to the public, give it a go, I will go again.

Ace place to teach kids, highly recommended.

1st Ever visit August Bank Holiday, did 3 days 2 nights on Georges (Peg 2), was a decent session despite the water being down about 3ft. Had 3 Carp upto 15lb 12oz, lost 3 Carp and was Snapped off by a good sized Catfish. Saw 2 Catfish come out while I was there, 16lb & 24lb. Going again in October for the same duration, 3 days 2 nights.

We love this place, numerous lakes each offering different challenging fish and all set in beautiful countryside, its an absolute pleasure to come here and fish, not forgetting the staff who are so helpful, all in all an absolute amazing place and you definitely will not be disappointed 👍👍😁😁
