On grey days and sunny days, this friendly club has given me the chance to experience the unspoilt river crouch, watch seals and get together over a pint in the burnham sailing club bar. With club boats and helpful members it's Burnham's best kept secret.
Crouch Kayak Club is a very welcoming and friendly club based on the River Crouch.
The facilities are excellent. Members have use of a clubhouse, changing rooms, kayak store and car park.
Training is offered on a regular basis, along with occasional pool sessions.
All in all, a very good kayak club.
A friendly club with a great location on the River Crouch. It also has kayaks and equipment that can be hired on club meets and so there is no excuse for not having a go.
