Cranham Golf Course

Purely on a rating for its ability to excite or stimulate in my opinion this is very low down there unfortunately. I’ve played some eighty odd courses in Essex and what it does have going for it is it’s manicured and maintained appearance which is on the other end of the scale . It’s billiard table flatness is no doubt a plus for the seniors but sorry cranham , golf course wise it’s a no for me . The clubhouse is worth a visit though for drinks and food

Easy walking forgiving fairways 7 interesting par 3s. Greens amongst the best I’ve played on. Helpful friendly staff. Easy booking flights on line. But get in quick times go fast in the warmer months

The grounds are stunning but what an Absolutely horrific service from the owner of the golf course for a baby shower. He was positively awful. Was cruel, unkind, rude and mean to a pregnant woman and to her guests. Specifications on the food was not met and he came in gun blazing when we asked for a price to be knocked off saying that he will be taking us to court. He shouted in my mother's face, told us we should have cancelled the baby shower. Just an awful man

I played at Cranham Golf Course for the first time this week and I was very impressed. This is a beautifully designed course offering plenty of challenges in the way of water hazards, fairway and greenside bunkers, dog legs and two-tiered greens. You cannot fault the course conditions. The tee boxes are in great condition. The fairways were well cut and the rough is fairly light, with barely any deep rough. The greens are fast and beautifully kept. Fantastic course, very well kept, greens were fast and true. Its quite open and not very long so will favour the beginners and high handicappers. Its well worth the green fee, i will return and i recommend you visit for a pleasant round.
