  • Crail has two great course ! Although Craighead is one of my favourites. Not, sure if non member, can visit the clubhouse & enjoy a drink & a meal. But, the view is excellent there. Gr8 place & great staff there.

  • Played the balcomey course, good wee course quite short but still very challenging with loads of holes that hug the coast line. Pro was very helpful will defiantly be back for another game.

  • Crail is exceptionally lucky to be in the golden catchment area with St Andrews at the heart. It is super popular with overseas visitors in season. Both courses are excellent and beautifully maintained. With that huge income, no surprise! However,I can't help but ask how Balcomie in particular can charge plus £100. A nice course, but not in the super league in my humble opinion. I wonder what members think of the in season difficulty of booking for their own courses?!

  • I've played both courses and visited Crail Golfing Society a few times now. It's a lovely part of the Fife coast and the superb clubhouse is in the ideal location to overlook the old course (Balcomie) and coastline. Both courses are close to perfection in terms of maintenance. Greens are lovely to putt on and bunkers, pathways and decorative garden areas are highly maintained.   • Played the Balcomie Course back in April with a group of 35 or so and man oh man what a day we had!! This was really my first links experience and I fell in love immediately. Having our names called out on the first tee was awesome and nerve racking at the same time lol. Just a special place that I will never forget and somewhere I would absolutely join if I lived much, much closer...
