I am a glass artist who's been designing and creating bespoke contemporary stained glass commissions since 1998. I love to create glass pieces that are pulled in from the things around me that inspire me in life. I would love to help you create your own glass piece of your choice to take home with you at the end of our workshop together. Learn about the unique qualities of silver clay and make your own solid silver jewellery. You'll be guided by a friendly and experienced teacher to help you make three jewellery pieces for you to treasure and take away! Firstly, you will make a leaf pendant or earrings. Then you'll mould a small object of your choosing to turn into a charm. Lastly, you will form a pendant or charm and learn how to add texture and a gemstone. Once all your projects are ready, you will be shown how to fire and polish your pieces to be solid silver with a beautiful shine.

Merging wellness, fitness and sensuality, London Bitty heels dance classes for beginners, provide a safe, supportive space for personal exploration, self love and confident liberation.

You'll be covering the technical and design processes of creating your own capsule wardrobe for the summer. You'll be able to make garments such as skirts, blazers, bomber jackets, mini skirts, dresses, loungewear, swimwear, and accessories, the possibilities are endless. This programme is perfect for a teenager who is curious about learning how to sew, design and make their own clothes, use and alter patterns and would like to know information on what it takes to be a designer. There will be a constant gaze on sustainability and how you can make your process as sustainable and zero-waste as possible. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. You will learn how to: • Assume the role of the designer and develop your own ideas into a design • Work with Ex LFW designer fabrics • Create mood boards and learn why designers use them • Pattern cut, sew and construct your own garment • Take your first steps into the fashion industry Whilst learning valuable skills such as: • Communication • Fashion design • Fabric knowledge • Embellishment • Accuracy • Machine and hand sewing You will leave with: • Design development sheets • Your own mood boards • An outfit designed and made by yourself • A certificate of completion What You Need: • Students must arrive with packed lunches, snacks and a re-usable bottle of water each day. • We provide all materials and sewing equipment. Lee Furniture offer a beginners course in Box Making. The tuition is one on one. This course is for the beginner interested in making furniture.  Throughout the day we will make a box (see images) in solid Oak/Ash (Timber dependant on stock) There is an option to upgrade the box to Walnut timber during the course!! The course is hands on and will be based around using tools and machinery to plane and join for your box, use of hand tools to include the correct use of: Marking out tools Planes Chisels Scrapers Power tools There will be demonstrations throughout the day including chisel sharpening, planing and cutting wood.   Unlike courses of this type elsewhere, this is a making course, not just assembling pre-cut planed components, you will plane from scratch sawmill-provided timber.  At the end of the day you will have achieved the making of a solid oak box, and learned some of the techniques used in cabinet making. The Box is finished with modern style hinges and a oil/wax finish.. What's included in the price? Wood is included in the course for practising your new skills.  Tea and coffee included for the day. Demonstrations of sharp vs blunt. 4. Grinding wheels and sharpening stones explained. 5. Full sharpening demonstrations for chisels and planes. 6. Now get to sharpen as many of your own chisels and plane blades.
