Stained Glass Workshops Taster (3hr) or One day (7.5hr) options

Have you ever wanted to create your own peronalised stained glass piece? We'll show you how! No experience required

Ruth Summers (tutor) has creating bespoke glass art since 1998. Ruth runs workshops teaching the skills of stained glass where you can create your own small copper foiled stained glass creation or unique sun-catcher which you can take home with you at the end of the day. Prior to the workshop we can work together to design your glass piece so your pattern is ready to be brought to life on the day or you can choose from our popular patterns on the day.

What's included in the price?

All workshops include materials, tea, coffee and herbal teas, free on road parking. 

Our garden studio is situated near the idyllic village of Rottingdean, Brighton with Kipling Gardens, Grange Museum & Art Gallery, Beacon Hill Windmill and Nature Reserve, beach, shops, cafes and pubs nearby

For the One Day workshop we recommend you bring a packed lunch with you although shops and takeaways are nearby in the very quiet and idyllic village of Rottingdean.

Please note: We ask that you wear comfortable clothing with flat covered footwear. Due to the materials used, this course is not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. We use very hot soldering irons when soldering the glass pieces together

Finish times for all workshops are a little flexible to ensure your creation is complete on the day, so do allow for a little additional time if required.

Cancellation policy:

• Workshops and Gift Vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person/s or date up to 7 days prior to the start of the course
• Cancellation within 7 days of the start of the course is non-refundable but can be rescheduled for another date at 50% of the full price
• Cancellation of less than 24 hours notice is non-refundable and non-transferable
