Being Swedish in origin I feel very strongly that our wellbeing and happiness should be more prominent in our way of life and the concept of Lagom, which means ‘just about right, not too much or too little’ is a key concept to Swedish people. This balance between work and pleasure is perhaps more clearly articulated in Scandinavia and sits well together with the key foundation of the Positive Psychology movement. After my initial Psychology degree I worked in the Further Education Sector and I still have a particular interest in adolescents and in Post 16 work. I did my Educational Psychology training at the Tavistock Clinic in London in the mid 90s, and I had a good grounding in Attachment and Resilience based frameworks as well as Family Therapy. Over the years, I have also specialised in specific learning difficulties as well as more recently in Positive Psychology with a particular interest in Coaching Psychology. Over the last year I have received Positive Psychology Coaching from one of Britain’s most well established Positive Psychologists, Miriam Akhtar. Being on the receiving end of good coaching has given me a personal insight into its transformational powers. Having been an educational psychologist for over 20 years in a number of different settings, including both Local Authorities and the Independent Sector, as well as assessments for students in Higher Education, I came across Positive Psychology when experiencing personal and health changes in my own life. I applied a number of Positive Psychology strategies such as The Keys To Happier Living, (See Action for Happiness below) and I learnt to keep my attention and focus in the right place in order to promote wellbeing. I learnt what my Character Strengths were which enabled me to see myself in a different light. I feel strongly that everybody would benefit from knowledge of these principles. I am therefore keen to provide Positive Psychology training and insights to individuals, families and schools. When month after month, my account moved between positive and negative, because of choices that I had made to buy things that were not so important, I honestly felt like this was all that my financial life was going to look like. I didn’t know that this was the feeling that would be the pivot to my financial expertise and the birth of my company ‘Young Spender’. A company delivering coaching, and workshops designed to develop the financial education of young people. A choice was made to break the cycle. Salto is a vibrant and active centre, over 2000 people use our facility every week through schools, parent and toddlers, classes and squads. We are proud to have over 1200 current British Gymnastics members and 50 members of Gymnastics Ireland regularly using our facilities. Through our range of programmes we offer gymnastics activity for everyone. We have created opportunities for our performance gymnasts to move into the Salto Gymfusion display team, sports acrobatics or undertake level 1 coaching awards. This ensures our gymnasts can make smooth transitions from one discipline to another at the same facility within the same gymnastics family. Our Elite WAG and MAG squads have the opportunity to be selected for Celtic Cup, Northern Europeans, Europeans, Worlds, Youth Olympics, UKSG and Commonwealth Games. We are the only gym club in Northern Ireland to be represented at all these events. We have an excellent relationship with our local City Council in Lisburn who provided the land for the facility and were instrumental in our bid to become an Olympic Training camp. Our Club won the Lisburn Sports Club of the year in 2011. In addition to our satellite clubs in the local primary schools, we have excellent links with many schools in NI with 25 schools regularly taking part in gymnastics classes at Salto throughout each week of the school year. In addition we work with local education providers (FE and HE) in the provision of training, coach mentoring, employment and work experience for their students.

We are passing through interesting times. This is a dimension (one of countless many) where personal and spiritual growth happens through an interplay of dark and light forces. ‘Light’ is an evolutionary force that reconnects us to our divinity, higher frequencies of light and our true multidimensional nature. ‘Dark’ is an anti-evolutionary force that seeks to keep us in separation and locked within a lower density. We are coming to the end of a period of great spiritual darkness on the earth. In this period between 1987 and 2030 a great shift of consciousness has been initiated. We are moving rapidly towards a 5D paradigm of existence where the old game of dark and light will no longer play out in the same painful way. The challenge for lightworkers is one of spiritual hygiene and clearing out karmic patterns that can be released to the light. Now is a time of ascension, both for the planet itself and many millions of souls on the planet. Not everyone has chosen this path and many will continue their spiritual growth elsewhere. There are many starseeds on the planet who are waking up to their mission here. In this dense dimension it has been very difficult to maintain a high consciousness. This is because the underlying energetic structures of the earth have not supported it. This has been changing over the past decades as a new high frequency grid has been established on the earth. Many star races have contributed to this new grid, in particular the Arcturians, Pleaidians and Sirians are very active in this regard. This site includes a FREE Online Resource Library containg all of Steve’s work to support those going through the ascension/awakening process. A simpler way of putting it is this planet is going from fear to love, from separation to unity consciousness. This shift has been planned for some time.
